VOC reduction
In many processes, unwanted volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted, such as solvents, smoke residues or monomers from manufacturing or biological processes. These substances are often just plain annoying, but in other cases may also be toxic and hazardous.
Atmospheric plasma technology allows for reactive species of oxygen to be dispersed into the contaminated air at high concentrations, with accelerated kinetics oxidizing and thus breaking down organic substances. This process can be supported with suitable catalysts, which also deplete excess ozone completely.
